Completely shocking!

The conversation then shifts to the disturbing story from Charlotte, North Carolina, involving lifelong criminal Decarlos Brown Jr. and his brutal attack and murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, who was riding a train home after getting off work. The reason for the stabbing? Brown has told his family he stabbed Zarutska because he believed she was reading his mind.

Brown clearly has mental health issues, but he also has a long list of criminal charges. Still, he was free and able to take the life of someone just minding her own business, trying to create a better life for herself and her family.
